SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR YOU....

CHIBIS  ARE .....


IN REALITY ...........


IN THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE....The  word means "short" or "midget."


The word chibi is often taken offensively when directed toward a person in a Japanese social environment... actualy meaning "shrimp" or "shortcake."


Its usage in English (or rather, Japanglish) ignores the word's derogatory context, and focuses on the "cute" meaning as it often appears in anime and manga, and then CHIBI  is used as an adjective that means small and/or miniature in a good or cute way, and is also an endearment.


It is a smaller form of any existing character, meant to look cute.


I have been somehow following the work, or should I say, the practice in Chibis by a young
German girl..... and I found it very interesting to follow her progress....


is 15 years of age... a very nice and educated young lady... and I found it a pleasure to interact with her....
