Mutualism is any relationship between individuals of different species where both individuals derive a benefit.
Indeed my precious Lili has given me unbelivable support during now 14 years.... and she will never be forgotten... God bless her for being in my life....
I am quoting a good DA friend’s words here (Thanks Donna for the inspiration....) which are ... “I am not up loading for attention, I think we should be proud of our bodies, what ever shape or size....”
So, I am uploading a piece of work now for a reason; I am doing so because for a long time I have felt that this shot is particularly magical and was lovingly and very well produced by my dearest Mel
I did the editing of the original shot.
I would also like to share a few quotes with you – which have great meaning for me:
“A Woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretence and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.”
“That’s what you want to do? Then nothing beats a trial but a failure. Give it everything you’ve got. I’ve told you many times, ‘Can’t do’ is like ‘Don’t Care’. Neither of them have a home.”
“My life has been one great big joke, a dance that’s walked, a song that’s spoke, I laugh so hard I almost choke when I think about myself!”
“I realize that living well is an art which can be developed. Of course, you will need the basic talents to build upon: They are a love of life and ability to take great pleasure from small offerings, an assurance that the world owes you nothing and that every gift is exactly that, a gift.”
Hello, I'd like to write a few words on this lovely work of yours
What's really great is when a picture has a thought, this one definitely belongs in that category. I could feel it screaming from the position of these two right after first look. I am really glad for comments you did in artist commentary window and for the quotes that support viewers connection to what you had in mind.
As for the technical side, composition (objects distribution around the picture frame) is good and coloring soft and warm. The only thing that disturbs me a little (since it's a critique, I must write this side too), it's the glimpse of yellow, to me it imbalances the picture, being only present on a small part. Perhaps if the glimpse contained cool tone instead of another warm and was distributed slightly to the other side of the figure as well, picture would get little more dynamic. But that is only a suggestion.
Overall, I love the idea of this, keep up the good work
I really love this, and can relate so much! (I have two kitties of my own )
I have to disagree with the critique in regards to the colors (assuming you didn't do a re-do at this point). The colors add to the warmth of feeling that the work projects. It just. simply. works!
I was browsing your gallery ,and immediately captured by this images...What a wonderful concept and qoutes...I can feel you have beautiful soul...thank you for sharing!!!
it is such a tragedy that most people feel ashamed about their physical selves (as much as they feel self-conscious of everything about themselves). it takes a great deal of courage and feeling of freedom to accept ourselves as we are. i applaud you for this.
...of course, we also know that cats represent femininity in the truest sense, so the mutualism is natural!
